Ava Bogle: Normalizing Pleasure, Sex + the Power of the Clitoris
Ava Bogle is an LA-based writer, actor and filmmaker. Her one-woman show The Pleasure Project premiered at the Hollywood Fringe Festival then toured to Australia, New York, and San Francisco. Her solo directorial debut, Meryl Fuckin Streep, won Best Short Film at SF Indie Fest and Best Experimental Film at Lady Filmmakers Festival. As a comedian, she has appeared at The Comedy Store, Flappers, and The Viper Room. From writing a sex blog, to stand up and Moth-style storytelling events, to the films and theatre she creates, all her work explores themes of taboo sexuality, loneliness, desire, fantasy and obsession.
