A native of Ireland, Emma Pyne is an LA based actor, writer, and filmmaker.
Her solo show Confessions of a Catholic Nymphomaniac was all set to open on March 18th 2020 (Ha!) but she is looking forward to producing it later this year.
She trained at The Actor’s Temple in London and in Los Angeles with Janet Alhanti and The Lee Strasberg Film and Theatre Institute. She also has a BA in fashion design and an MA in Broadcast Journalism.
As a journalist, Emma worked for London’s SKY News, BBC, ITV and wrote for the UK’s best selling weekly, LOOK magazine, and her own column for London’s GROVE magazine.
She has written two award winning short films, Burn Baby Burn and Cúl an Tí.
Emma stars in the film Angels On Tap, with Ed Asner, Jamie Farr and Marion Ross out now on Amazon….and She is very proud of her Irish roots.
