Create a Relationship with Spirit

It’s Truth + Tequila Tuesday!

This week’s question comes from Ruth, who says:

I feel spiritually connected to whatever that is, I feel good in my heart, like I understand it’s there. I speak on the regular to whomever, whatever entity is listening. I say prayers occasionally. And other times I just talk to spirit in the car while I’m driving, while I’m sitting at home – I feel a constant connection. But then, one of my big hangups is that I don’t have a religious practice. When I’ve gone and tried to go several times to different churches, I don’t necessarily feel comfortable.

I don’t have an outward practice, and I guess my question is when you don’t have a formal practice in a formal setting would it be beneficial to make yourself a weekly ritual that you do practice in your own home? Just to kind of ground that specificity, even though on a day to day you feel connected, but you just want to make it feel like an actual practice? vs. just saying, oh yeah, I live in spirit, connected to God, you know?

Tune in for the answer.
